These Turbines may be used on liquids such as water, light oils, solvents and low viscosity chemicals. Suitable for batching, flowrate monitoring and process controlling they are designed to work with a variety on LCD displays or programmable controllers. Sub Sea versions are available. The Turbines are made entirely of 316 stainless and the rotors are machined from solid, making them almost indestructable. Sleeve bearings provide reliable performance with longevity. All RN series turbines are CE marked under the Pressure Equipment Directive. They are all calibrated on water and are traceable to national standards.Maximum pressure and temperature ratings are subject to the fluid specification, please call to confirm before ordering. |
The 316 stainless steel range of flow turbines are suitable for almost any clean low to medium viscosity fluid.
Working on the well proven turbine principle, the flow of liquid acts against the angled surfaces of a set of precision
turbine blades causing them to rotate. The movement of the tip of each blade is detected by a sensor located in the
body of the meter. This is then converted in to a pulsed signal, the frequency of which is proportional to the flow rate
through the meter.
A high pressure rating of up to 700 bar and temperature rating of 110°C make this unit perfect for many industries.
Available in 12 sizes from 1 L/min up to 9000 L/min, and with screwed or flanged connections, ensures there is a
unit to meet your requirements. A millivolt sinewave, amplified squarewave or 4-20mA analogue signal is available.
There is also a choice of a head mounted LCD rate / totaliser. Accuracy is ±0.5% of reading and each turbine is supplied
with its own calibration certificate.
A full range of electronic data loggers and panel mounted displays are available to accompany these turbines, please have a look at the Instrumentation section of the website.
