Oil Analysis Laboratory Service

The laboratory analysis service allows you to take your own oil samples using bottles pre-cleaned to ISO 3722 standards, and post them off direct to the laboratory (pre-labelled bottle and box provided).

You fill in a form giving facts such as machine identification, serial number, fluid type etc, so as to help build a historical database of cleanliness for the same machine. Results are then e-mailed and posted back to the customer in 2-3 working days (email is in a pdf format).

The reports give valuable information on the condition of the oil e.g. water contamination, metal content etc. Subsequent reports for the same machine build up a monitoring history and these are displayed graphically over time, thus providing a trend analysis.

The normal cost of the service is £25.00 per sample. This price includes the bottle, label, identification sheet and full report. Our engineers are available to help interpret your results and discuss the reports with you.

Alternatively, we can offer a full oil cleanliness monitoring package whereby our engineers visit to take the samples and provide advice on interpreting sample results. Please call or email for details.
