Measuring Fuel consumption in diesel engines can  be problematic whether it is in a marine, locomotive or bus application - temperature fluctuations and pulsation can all cause incorrect readings.

Flowtechnik’s EM range of positive displacement flowmeters are high accuracy flowmeters with a high turn-down ratio, especially designed for fuel flow measurements.

By taking data into our RT12 display/computer the pulses generated from the supply and return can be brought into the display and a differential calculation taken giving fuel consumption. This data can also be further output via scaleable pulse or 4-20mA analogue output.

We also offer simpler more conomic Fuel Consumption displays without signal outputs.
