Held in a limestone quarry in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside, Hillhead is the largest exhibition of its kind anywhere in the world. Continually adapting, it provides a spectacular and unique setting for exhibitors and visitors alike to do business amongst live working demonstrations and static displays.
For Hydrotechnik UK exhibiting at Hillhead has always bought extreme weather swings and on this occasion, it was no different - the sun definitely had his hat on. What hasn't swung is the consistency in footfall resulting in clear enquiries and leads to follow up.
As with previous Hillhead shows we shared the stand with our sister company Filtertechnik Ltd - a filtration equipment supplier and manufacturer which used the show to launch the all-new Particle Pal Life - a monitor capable of accurately displaying the remaining life of oils.
We displayed our finest range of test and measurement equipment, including our much-loved Minimess pressure test kits, diagnostic mobile data loggers, and our innovative custom made kits. We also put on exclusive show discounts on a wide range of products on show.
Throughout each day of the show the stand's flow of people peaked and troughed - as with all the shows but thanks to our products on display and our enthusiastic engineer's initial conversations soon turned into orders.
Overall we have enjoyed Hillhead 2018 and would look to attend in two years time.
