5060+ tests compact excavators

Why do JCB service engineers work with 5060plus data loggers?
JCB have been using the 5060plus data loggers to carry out all development tasks on our compact excavators including testing hydraulic pressures, flow, ram positions and voltage measurements. More recently we have performed hydraulic, end damping port and sign off alongside electro-proportional tuning testing.

What are the main benefits of the 5060plus data logger?
It’s compact size, bright LED display and the range of analogue channels available. I am able to see the display and get a quick indication of the results whilst sitting in the cab. We regularly use the following channels 0/10V as well as the 4/20mA in the same test.

How have you found the overall performance?
Since we started using the MultiSystem 5060plus data logger we have found it has more than matched our testing requirements. Swapping between two projects and configuring channels is easy to do.

We find the MultiSystem 5060+ a great all round service tool for testing our compact excavators including the following models: 1CX, RTFL, Teletruk and Loadalls.

The picture you see had been taken whilst we were fine tuning the electro-proportional control system for the dozer blade, recording voltage, amperage, pressure and dozer movement.

We cable tied the unit in position so the screen can easily be viewed whilst running without needing to leave the control system.
